Sekaroh Village is a village formed by East Lombok Regent Regulation Number: 17 of 2010 dated 10 November 2010 and defined by Regional Regulations Number 7 of 2011. which is an expansion of the Pemongkong Village area and consists of from 7 subdistrict areas, namely: Dusun Aro Inak, Dusun Pengoros, Dusun Transimigration, Ujung Gol, Dusun Telone, DusunSunut and Dusun Ujung Ketangge are one of the 15 villages village in Jero waru District, located in the East of the Jerowaru District is a Tourism Village and Forestry Area, with an area of Sekaroh Village as large as 5120 ha 2, consisting of land and coastal areas directly adjacent to the Alas Strait.
Sekaroh Village is a village that has experienced very slow development in comparison other villages in Jerowaru District, but in terms of potential, Sekaroh is a rich village of potential, various fields of activity can be developed, including the most fundamental are agriculture and maritime affairs.
Generally, people's livelihoods are farmers and fishermen, apart from that of the community Sekaroh also raises goats, cows and poultry, but only as an additional activity, There is no special management in the livestock sector. One of the potentials that is currently starting to develop is the tourism potential of the village Sekaroh has been visited by many local and foreign tourists because On every side or part of the village in the Sekaroh area, tourism activities can be developed.
There are Central Government regulations regarding the development of village-based tourism local development, the opportunity for Sekaroh village to become a tourist village is certainly great potential so that the village must provide space for the community to be able to manage it independent activities.
Administratively, Sekaroh Village consists of 7 Dusun and 23 RTs with boundaries as follows :
- North: Paremas Village Area - South: Seriwe Village area - East: Sea/Alas Strait - West: Pemongkong Village area
